Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli said on Sunday that foreign investors are now rushing to Iran thanks to the country's sound security.

'We should boost the country's security more than before because of its great importance,' he said.

Addressing a group of police commanders in Tehran, he said police have played a vital role in establishing security and implementing economy of resistance.

Pursuing the decree issued by the Supreme Leader and relying on the rule of law have a leading role in attaining the country's goals, he said.

'We are now living in a society with diverse cultures, ethnicity and religions and no manager can handle such a vast diversity,' he said.

Police force along with other sectors should abide by rule of law in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, said the interior minister.

Police should be tough on intruders and law breakers while being kind to other civilians, he said.

Police is responsible for restoring calm to cities and border regions, he said.

Under wise leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei police are now playing a significant role at international events, he said.

The country attained significant development under tough economic sanctions, thanks to the endeavor of the Iranian people, he said.

Brave resistance of the Iranian people and wise leadership of the Supreme Leader brought the nation such remarkable achievements, he said.

Lack of security will dissuade domestic and foreign investors from investing in the country, he said adding that police are now in charge of maintaining political, social, ethical and security orders nationwide, said the minister.

The US and Zionists seek to weaken the status of Iran's economy to dissuade foreign investors from coming to Iran, he said.

People should exercise vigilance to thwart conspiracies of the enemies to this end, Fazli said.
