Iranian Aviation industry achievements are the result of JCPOA; Akhoondi

Iranian Road and Urban Development Minister says, government achievements are real and tangible.

"Abbas Akhoondi", Iranian Road and Urban Development Minister said: "I am happy to announce that today, 5200 kilometers of new airway is going to be opened." 

According to Akhoondi, there has always been discussions around using Iranian skies capacities and in resistance economy policies the issue is emphasized.

He added: "Air transit was always a pivotal Point in policies of resistance economy. Our work in Aviation should be done in world level and should conform to International standards. If we are looking for a share in the world aviation market, we should raise Iran’s competition level in the Global levels." 

"We should be able to compete at international levels in fields like safety, knowledge, equipment and technology with our rivals and achieve search abilities in world levels" he underlined. 

Iranian road minister also said: "All that has been done in the aviation field was knowledge based measures and the achievements are not empty slogans. We didn't took these steps to grab attentions, rather these are real and tangible success and are aimed at empowering Iran in Aviation Industry." 

"Increasing, passing transit and confirmation of ICAO is an indication of our aviation industry’s abilities. We were able to boost our country’s passing transit to twofold in just two years" he emphasized. 

Referring to measures in renewing country’s aviation fleet, Akhoondi said: "Today we expanded our controlling sections on the ground and the centers increased from five to 13. We hope we can increase Iran’s financial power and share in world aviation market. These measures have been taken with low costs but they were based on knowledge."
