Iran holds air defense exercise near Bushehr nuclear plant

A military drill was held over the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, a deputy governor-general of Bushehr province in the south of Iran said.
Mohammad Taqi Irani said the maneuver was held to enhance the full combat readiness of the armed forces early on Monday.
“This exercise took place at 5 a.m. local time (1:30 GMT) with full preparation and coordination with the armed forces,” he added.
He noted that the drill was held in the south of Bushehr Province by the Persian Gulf.
