Raisi invites Saudi crown prince to visit Iran

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has invited Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to visit the Islamic Republic, the Iranian ambassador to Riyadh has said.
Alireza Enayati made the announcement on Saturday on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He said that Raisi invited bin Salman to visit Iran as the two met in Riyadh on the sidelines of a joint summit by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League on the Gaza war.
Iran and Saudi Arabia restored their diplomatic relations in March 2023 under a China-brokered deal.
