Iranian Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan said that most of the S-300 missile system has been delivered to Iran and the remaining would be completely delivered to Iran by next month.

“Most of the S-300 has been delivered to Iran. Another part is being loaded and transferred and the system would completely arrive in Iran by next month,” he said.

He noted that Iranian military has received training for maintaining and using the system.

Iranian defense minister continued that decisions regarding place of the system would be made considering threats posed against sensitive parts of Iran.

He said that Iran has never discussed the issue of S-400 and is not going to pursue it.

Dehghan noted that letting Russian planes fly from an Iranian airbase in Hamedan City, western Iran, is in line with mutual cooperation between Iran and Russia to target equipment and gatherings in terrorist groups, and this comes due to Syrian demand.

He said that Iran has never given an airbase to Russia.
