Nobody can deny the positive effects produced by the Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action, Iran's Vice-President Mohammad Shariatmadari says.
speaking to a group of visiting Iranian businessmen living abroad on Tuesday, Shariatmadari said that the nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1, known as the JCPOA, provided safer and more secure ground for foreign countries to engage with in Iran.
But when sanctions were in place foreign countries were anxious to establish ties with the Islamic Republic, he said.
The government tried to improve Iran’s ties with the world and to prove the peace-loving nature of the Islamic Republic to the international community, he added.
The official urged Iranians residing abroad to seize the opportunity and make investments in the country.
Seven billion dollars of foreign investment have been attracted in the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year(started March 20,2016), Shariatmadari said.
