Syria thanks Iran for support against terrorism

Syrian Prime Minister Imad Mohammad Deeb Khamis on Thursday thanked Iran for supporting Damascus against terrorism.
He made the remarks in a farewell ceremony held to honor the efforts of Iranian Ambassador to Syria Mohammad Reza Rauf Sheibani.
The official thanked Iran for supporting independent states of the region in the hard times.
Iran has always been in the frontline of fighting Takfiri terrorist groups, he noted.
Meanwhile, during the meeting, the Iranian envoy referred to the strategic cooperation between Iran and Syria and declared continuation of Iran’s support for Syria against terrorism.
