Iran publishes JCPOA Joint Commission resolutions

Iran’s Foreign Ministry published seven resolutions of the Joint Commission of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on its website December 23.

According to Trend news, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has requested holding the next session of the JCPOA Joint Commission on January 10, 2017.

President Hassan Rouhani on December 13 ordered the Foreign Ministry to pursue the US breach of its obligations in the JCPOA.

The Joint Commission of the JCPOA held several meetings before execution of the nuclear deal and after that.

The JCPOA was reached between Iran and the group 5+1 (the US, UK, France, Russia, China and Germany) in 2015 to curb Iran’s nuclear program in return for lifting sanctions on the country. It was put into practice in January 2016.
