No decision to run for presidency; Ghalibaf

Tehran's Mayor announced that he's not going to run for presidency.

"Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf", Tehran's Mayor, regarding the upcoming presidential election, refusing speculations about candidacy in the presidential races told: "Current socio-economic situation in the country has reached critical points and there’s no doubt that such condition is the result of the government’s mismanagement in addressing and handling the ongoing challenges."

According to Ghalibaf, its’ an undeniable necessity to aim at and put effort in replacing the current head of the state.

"Today our society is in dire need of views and understanding beyond partisan considerations" he underlined.

Ghalibaf stressed that nowadays, the necessity of solidarity has turned to a public appeal.

Appreciating citizens for their efforts to reach such an end, Ghalibaf announced that he has no decision to run for presidency.

At the end, Tehran's Mayor, added: "Everyone who’s looking for ways to rescue the country from its current socio-political crisis, should seek unity and integrity in eliminating the mismanaging approaches and replacing the current government."
