Iranian economist and political analysts says, Ahmadinejad makes the presidential race more pluralized.

Regarding "Mahmoud Ahmadinajad", Former Iranian President’s registration in Presidential race, "Saeed Leilaz", economist and political analyst told ILNA that: "I’m not much surprised by the decision and the act was predictable. Ahmadinejad is not targeting reformists or President Hassan Rouhani, he is trying to address the whole Iranian state."

He continued: "He probably will turn into Iran’s "Boris Yeltsin" (Former Russian President). He’s trying to address top Iranian authorities with his acts."

"I brought up the issue in year 1385 and repeat it again. I believe, Ahmadinejad can do this" he emphasized.

Regarding the prospects of his qualification or disqualification in supervisory procedures, he said: "His disqualification is very likely. But even if he gets qualified, we are going to benefit from a pluralized election with "Ebrahim Raisi", presidential candidate, Hassan Rouhani, Iranian current President and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Former President. This way each candidate precisely is evaluated and it will get determined exactly, how much support each candidate is receiving."
