We publish parts of Ahmadinejad's records in debates; Ansari tells ILNA

Vice President for Legal Affairs, in response to recent attacks on the government threatened to publish last cabinet's records.

"Majid Ansari", Vice president for Legal Affairs, in an interview with ILNA, emphasized that the government, during these 3 years remained silent and the whole cabinet declined to review and analyze the past.

"We didn’t want to be accused of blackwashing the past. We were looking for creating hope in the society. But this time when the opponents start to talk about issues regarding those period, it's time to make the matters clear and let the public become aware of what was behind the scene and know what these guys did to the country."

Regarding "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad", Former President’s letters and statements attacking the government, top cabinet official told: "Ahmadinejad’s letters and what he claimed in these days, is only a political and election-related game that he’s playing. Everyone knows, what Ahmadinejad did to the economy of this country."

Ansari added that despite the country’s 700 billion dollars strikingly high income, he left the government with a dramatically soaring 44% inflation rate and an isolated state, having chaotic relations with the world and stagnating imposed sanctions.

"Most importantly, ruining ethical foundations of the country is among the most destructive accomplishments of his cabinet" he noted.

Vice President emphasized that Ahmadinejad, disregarding of what he inherited for his future government, is now covering up for his deeds.

"Obviously, during the presidential debates, part of his government’s performance will be announced" he noted.
