British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Boris Johnson said on Monday that results of an upcoming meeting of the P5+1 foreign minister in New York would be balanced.

Britain believes that Iran nuclear deal known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) is a valuable agreement, Johnson told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) after a meeeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif.

He said he told the Iranian foreign minister during the meeting that London expects further progress in 'other issues' with Tehran as well.

Commenting on whether London have an influence on US President Trump's hostile stance against the landmark nuclear deal, Johnson said that the position of the British government is clear.

We believe that Iran nuclear deal is valuable, he stressed.
