Attacker stabs Iran ambassador's residence police in Vienna

An attacker stabbed a diplomatic police officer at the residence of Iran's ambassador in Vienna, Austrian police said on Sunday.
The officer was injured in his arm, and the 26-year-old Austrian attacker from Tyrol state was shot dead, AFP reported
The police officer used pepper spray but had to shoot the attacker.
His reaction to kill the attacker was based on the rules, an Austrian Defense Ministry spokesman was quoted saying.
Police has increased number of its forces at the attack site.
No reports are yet available on the attackers’ motive.
