Iran's daily oil output is now surpassing 3.5 million barrels, said Rokneddin Javadi, Iranian deputy oil minister, addressing an oil industry meeting in Tehran.

Javadi, who is also heading the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), added that Tehran's crude oil export will reach two million barrels a day during April.

He further said that gas condensate exports in April will also witness a 10-percent growth.

Commenting on Iran's oil exports to the European countries, Javadi said the Iranian crude exports to the EU share 30 to 35 percent of the Islamic Republic's total oil exports.

The International Energy Agency reported on April 14 that Tehran increased the crude oil output by 400,000 barrels per day since the start of 2016, up to 3.3 mbpd.

Iran announced in late 2015 that it would add 0.5 mbpd of crude oil to the production level as soon as the international sanctions on the country are eliminated and the same amount of crude oil would be added to the output level in the second half of 2016.

Iran's oil officials say that Tehran is ready to join other oil producers on the output freeze issue after its own production reaches the level of four million barrels per day.
