UK company ready to cooperate with Iran

Head of UK and Northern Ireland Power & Gas and Power Generation Services at Siemens Carl Ennis underlined Iran’s potential economic capacities, and said his company is ready for cooperation with Iran in the scientific fields.

 “Our company is ready for resuming cooperation with Iran,” Ennis told.

He also pointed to the visit of Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian to Britain and his meeting with British officials, and said, “We had a good meeting with Iranian energy minister and we talked different issues such as the record of our cooperation with Iran and resuming our mutual cooperation.

Asked about his analysis about the future of cooperation between Iran and Siemens, Ennis said, “There are some problems, including the issues related to banking exchanges, but we believe that if the two sides want such problems will be resolved.

He went on to say that in Tuesday meeting, the two sides agreed that there are potential opportunities in Iran that pushes Siemens to the obstacles should be removed.

The economic activist pointed to the purchase of Rolls Royce’s gas turbine and compressor section by Siemens Company, and said, “During our meeting with Iranian energy minister we proposed that given the recent developments, Iran has the opportunity to utilize different technologies, especially the products of Rolls Royce company.”
